I felt in love with Huda Beauty when I first saw Rose Gold Textured Eye Shadow palette! And my obsession with brand just grew and there is no wonder that when I saw Desert Dusk campaign at @hudabeauty Instagram page, I knew I have to own this palette! Beautiful photos of Huda at Arabian Desert took my breath away! Shades in palette were inspired by beautiful sky at dusk in desert, where Desert Dusk palette name came from.
When palette became available, I checked all Sephora stores in city as I didn't want to wait for shipping and sadly there were no palettes in store. After 2 days, and hearing that it is available only online at this moment, I ordered palette online. Waiting game was insane! Especially after I saw palettes in a day at store! I was debating if I simply should buy one to get it right away, but I waited. And let me tell me it was worth waiting for!
When I opened package, I saw difference from Rose Gold palette right away! I was impressed and love that it was definitely improvement! First of all, I really loved purple packaging that palette came in with Huda Beauty and Desert Dusk golden logos.
Than I opened package and couldn't take me eyes away from Huda photo with beautiful head piece! And when I opened palette and saw gorgeous insert with Huda photo and palette itself, I think I stopped breathing! Just for a second, but still... I was admiring the Masterpiece!
It was a love at a first sign! I loved at it, starred at it and couldn't dear even to touch it. Palette came with a mirror which also was an improvement a nice bonus, considering that price stayed the same as Rose Gold palette!
Same as Rose Gold palette it has 18 shades and 4 different finishes! It has eight matte eyeshadows, one glitter, six shimmering pressed pearl shades and three duo-chrome toppers. Everything and more you ever wanted in one package! And how beautiful are these colours! Peachy, rosy, purple, red and every possible shade of beautiful Desert Dusk!
